Markham Board of Trade Event Poster
Markham Board of Trade (MBT) is the premier business association serving the local business community, representing over 700 members, from large corporations to small entrepreneurial ventures. MBT is a non-profit organization which has been established to promote community, commercial and industrial growth, and to advocate on behalf of businesses with all levels of government.
Objective
To design event poster for their 29th Annual Gala and all of the design should represent the chosen theme which is Mardi Gras and MBT itself.
Approach
As Mardi Gras is famous for its hype, colorful and festive atmosphere, I choose to deliver that concept using the Mardi Gras colors which are purple, green, and yellow as the dominant colors, custom-made illustrations, and bubbly typography for all the pieces.
